It's unfortunate that things didn't work out in an ideal way. I worked hard to get my client to win the bid as we were competing against several other offers. After winning the bid, getting the contract ratified, and getting through a smooth transaction, it was revealed to me that my client could not purchase ANY property due to personal issues not relating to her loan or contract. Therefor, reneged on a contract that was signed, ratified and legally binding. The seller even offered to fix ALL of the repairs that my client wanted done after the inspection, but my client still refused on buying the house because of her circumstance. The seller then felt like my client wasn't a serious buyer since the repairs weren't the reason for my client terminating the contract. Therefor, the seller was now upset for losing days on the market. As upset the seller was, my broker and I did the best we could to get the seller to give my client her full EMD back. In conclusion, the seller agreed to give my client some money back. Therefor, both my client and seller signed the EMD deposit release addendum agreeing and settling on this matter. About 4 days later, my client wanted to rescind the EMD deposit release addendum, but it was too late. The addendum had already been signed by both parties, ratified, and the checks were already mailed out to both parties. It is unfortunate that my client has decided to write a bad review under my name, even though my client was still able to get some of her money back and signed an agreement on the matter without being forced. However, this 1 bad review does not define my capabilities as a Real Estate Agent. Based on my other 5 star reviews, I do the best I can to show my clients that I am here for them, even when certain situations are beyond my control.
